"In this residency, we will concentrate on the creative and theatrical elements of our work. We will work on firmly establishing the unique culture of our group and we will select the theme of our piece and begin to explore it in relation to our techniques. This time will give us the space to find the subject of the conversation we wish to have with our audiences and with each other, we hope to grow together in our dissection of the subject and in our understanding of our company, and hopefully finally settle on our name."

Irish Aerial Creation Centre Balearic Islands residency 2019

In 2019, IACC will reciprocate with a two-week residency for Balearic Islands' based circus artists, group of individuals or company.

C.In.E is part of a network called Island Connect – a residency program for performing arts.

ISLAND CONNECT is a collaborative program among three performing arts organisations working with residencies located on (or associated with) European islands of different countries. They are joined in this project by a common interest in contributing to the creation and consolidation of performing arts, with an important ambition to support the artists in their personal and professional development.

IACC is interested to become a member of this network, with the result that these residencies form a part of this programme, exchanging between Irish and Balearic organisations, festivals and companies.
