Ciara Moloughney | ISACS profile

Ciara Moloughney is a Galway based solo outdoor spectacle machine, usually found behind the scenes in production jobs, costume design and prop fabrication.

You can also catch rare sightings of her front and centre, performing her socks off in all manners of capacities.

When she is not doing either of those, you will find her up on a highwire, pursuing her funambulist addiction.

Ciara has always been working towards starting her own outdoor spectacle company and she believes that being part of DELVE IADF will be a great opportunity to make connections for future projects to build towards this. She is particularly obsessed with wanting to train in harness skills for fun, as this is the type of aerial she wants to incorporate into her future performances.

 Vicky Lennie | ISACS profile

Vicky Lennie comes from a background in visual arts, but more recently has been making costumes and props for circus and street arts. Vicky has also started performing in costume, on stilts and on trapeze, as well as working with other artists, schools and community groups, creating spectacle for parades.

Vicky says: ‘DELVE IADF will be a fantastic opportunity for me not only to learn loads of aerial skills, but also to meet and be inspired by others at the festival as well as by the shows. I'm looking forward to a week away from ordinary life, immersed in creativity and expect to go home full of energy, despite a few inevitable sore muscles...'

DELVE is a GO-SEE professional development programme supported by Arts Council Ireland, launched in 2016, to support ISACS members to get out, see and learn about street, circus and performance arts happening all around Ireland.

The programme involves going to various festivals, seeing and observing work from the street, circus and spectacle sectors, meeting the artists, the crew and discovering new ideas, inspiration and delving into these art forms with fresh eyes!

The aim of DELVE is to encourage dialogue and discussion around a variety of arts forms in Ireland, and to offer critical discussion and analysis and dynamic practices. Participants are encouraged to submit feedback from the events which can be read on our the DELVE page of our website

Take part in the next DELVE Programmes!
